How my dream came true

In the final weeks of my senior year, it came time to write the column I hoped I'd never have to write: my goodbye to The Michigan Daily, the place to which I owe pretty much everything I've found in college. Each year, the outgoing sports editors traditionally make their last column a goodbye to the place that they have made their own. I think the best of these columns tell a unique story, one only that individual writer could tell. So I sought to tell my story and ended up writing one about a journey to Ann Arbor, some walks around town and a lifelong dream come true.
